The Fee Engine would enable an onchain mechanism for module builders to receive ongoing revenue from module usage.

This opens up the potential for module builders to tokenize their fee revenue, creating fractional ownership in future revenue flows. These tokens could be used for fundraising, community ownership, collateral for loans, revenue sharing notes, or other onchain mechanisms.

SafeDAO could receive a percentage of these tokens, similar to what was proposed in the Value Alignment Program, granting it both ongoing revenue and ownership in the module ecosystem.

Safe could also house a marketplace for the Fee Revenue Tokens, and potentially accrue a marketplace fee. Additionally, the SAFE token could be used for curation and governance of the Fee Revenue Token protocol.
