Vault Marketplace

Provide a dApp store similar to a marketplace, where vault operators can list and advertise their asset mgmt. services (imagine DeFiLlama yield section, but for vaults with a “deposit button” integrated).

Vault providers (e.g., Karpatkey, Yearn, Wintermute, Index Coop, Etherfi, etc.) can integrate their deposit UI with Safe, and describe their strategies. Independent APIs/oracles managed by Safe are used to audit performance, TVL, number of deposits, etc. and provide a neutral comparison between the services.

The Safe community is activated to making sure, the vaults act as promised in their strategies. Bounties can be given out for reporting misbehavior, which may result in suspending vault operators. The community can also be activated in determining which vault operators can be listed (gov vote).

• Add-on: Incentives can be added by the vault providers to attract users (e.g., referral reward, points, tokens, etc.). However, to unlock this feature, the vault operator needs to stake a certain amount of SAFE.
• Add-on: Staking SAFE by vault operators unlocks additional features (e.g., top placement in the UI, official partnership stamp, co-marketing/endorsement by Safe, etc.). This can be tied to specific requirements, e.g., only vaults with a certain age (battle-tested), TVL/number of depositors (demand) can access these features.
• Add-on: The staked SAFE can act as insurance fund in case of incidents, misbehavior, hacks, or other issues. Staking SAFE comes with a 14-day withdrawal period for vault operators. The staked SAFE can be slashed and returned to fund depositors, should something go wrong. Freemium: If vault operators reach a certain TVL (e.g., >$50M, they are required to stake SAFE, in order to unlock more deposits).

Revenue: Vault operators pay a success fee to Safe (e.g., 2% of yields generated). The fee is reduced if they stake SAFE.

UX: Users can browse the vault UI and sort by asset, vault performance, TVL, age, name of vault operator, reputation (stars system), or other characteristics. Vaults can also be suggested to users, based on the assets they hold in their Safe account. Such advertising could be an additional feature unlocked by staking Safe.
